About the Centre for Business Sustainability

Founded in 2018, the Centre for Business Sustainability (CBS) is a collaboration between the Department of Management and the Department of Government and Public Administration at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. CBS’ mission is to promote business sustainability as a viable and profitable business model through conducting innovative research on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & sustainability management practices in the region, and transferring the acquired knowledge of CSR applications to both academic and business communities. Its projects include the Hong Kong SMEs Business Sustainability Indexes, the Hong Kong Business Sustainability Indexes and executive knowledge sharing and training programmes.

About The Hong Kong Council of Social Service  

Established in 1947, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) works to promote a just and inclusive society by promoting collaborative efforts among NGOs in service planning and development, facilitating cross-sectoral partnership, advocating equality, justice, social integration and a caring community. The Council has now become an umbrella organisation of over 480 Agency Members that provide quality social welfare services for those in need through 3,000 service units all over Hong Kong.

About Friends of the Earth (HK)

Friends of the Earth (HK) was established in 1983 as a charitable organization. It is one of Hong Kong's most prominent green groups.  As a leading environmental advocate, FoE(HK) focuses on protecting our local and regional environment; offers equitable solutions to help create environmentally sustainable public policies, business practices and community lifestyles; engages government, business and community to act responsibly.
