SMESS have successfully held the third course of the Sustainable Development Leadership Training Programme on “Corporate Governance” at the Hong Kong Council of Social Service on 21 May 2024 (Tuesday). Over a hundred leaders from SMEs and organisations attended the programme.

In the third lesson, we invited Professor Louis Cheng of the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong to give a wonderful speech on corporate governance and sustainable development, allowing the participants to understand the importance of integrating corporate governance with the environment and society, which has a significant impact on business and investment and financing.

In addition, this year’s SLTP course has added an interactive session. In addition to the one hour of teaching, there’s an additional one-hour group discussion session has been added to encourage participants to discuss and communicate with each other. Our Honorary Advisor, Dr. Brenda Lee, has led the seminar and provided SMEs with insightful advice and a practical framework on how to properly implement corporate governance, bringing rich inspiration and concrete practical guidance to the participants. 💖

We received a lot of positive feedback immediately after the course, which served as the driving force for our efforts in organizing this sustainable development leadership training course.
